The state of the world may seem bleak and dim, but music is a great escape and can deliver passion, healing, and inspiration. Let's keep in mind that not all is lost and we will continue as a fashionable society. To bring some light, our artists put together this remix EP of Jalapeño.

New collaborative project Jazz Plays Softly (from Ansidis) launches with the 'Lovers & Crime Remix' of 'Tsoin Tsoin.' It's a more poignant and introspective take with penetrating vocals and dubbed-out guitar licks. The vibe is electric with the static hum and echoing metal bells piped throughout the arrangement. Be ready to be elegantly teased and delightfully serenaded with this piece.

Black Pomade goes LoFi chic with his take on 'Cash Back.' The groove is infectious with its heavy duty kick and boisterous bottom end. The well groomed bass line gives the bounce as the slight over modulation provides the unkept, raw feel that is reminiscent of bumping and grinding at open-air parties. This track brings that 'love to be noticed' feeling back.

Alixir's take on 'Late Afternoon' is both refreshing and appropriate for summer. The bikini top and board-short vibe is well expressed with the cool ambient splashes of waves and bird song lavishly placed throughout. The tasteful percussion and provocative low end are ornamentally designed to pique our interest and guide us on our audible journey. Get beach ready with this track!

Run.Catch.Kiss' 'Heartbreak' remix is a warm sweater hug inspired take on 'Late Afternoon.' The bold pads bundle up this piece in warmth and charm while the deep pleated bass line and subdued kick accentuate and provide the flow. The sharply tailored percussion rounds out the fit with sound design providing the detail. Get festival season ready with this one.
