A deeper, darker side to Modmotif will be displayed on this EP. Although techno has always been the new black, we aim to bring music that is simple and desirable. Fantasia is just that. Designed from LA based artist Ivory, she proves sophistication can be formed from simplicity. The title track 'Fantasia' is the statement piece of this collection. The clean and aggressive low end drives this tune with an added soft and supple synth plunging in and out to add drama. This piece is highlighted with sheer hi-hats and a whispering drone that finds its way into your subconscious. The accompanying tune on the EP is the perfect follow up. 'From the Radio' is light, sexy and flirtatious. Radio samples are masterfully placed throughout this track, highlighted by the framing hi-hats, cutting drum fills and flaring risers. Get dance floor ready with this one. Remix duties went to French producer Floxyd. He adds a fun and vibrant flare to 'Fantasia' and it showcases his ability to add charm and character to any design. The bubbly sound design and pocketed bass groove really give this tune its panache. We are thrilled to put on display artists and collaborations from all around the globe and this is truly an illustration of music bringing people and talents together.
